By accessing or using the website located at https://linecounterai.com and its subdomains or international localizations (collectively, "LineCounter AI"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all terms and conditions, you must discontinue using our services immediately.
02.Description of Service & License
LineCounter AI provides browser-based text analytics and transformation tools, including real-time line counting, character and word metrics, Source Lines of Code (SLOC) analysis, optical character recognition (OCR) line extraction, and string manipulation utilities.
We grant you a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, revocable license to access and use LineCounter AI for your personal, academic, editorial, or commercial projects.
03.User Content & 100% Intellectual Property Ownership
You retain full, exclusive intellectual property ownership of all source code, text snippets, documents, and images input into LineCounter AI.
Because our application executes 100% client-side inside your browser sandbox, your input data is never transmitted to or retained on our infrastructure. We do not inspect, license, sell, or claim any rights over your content.
04.Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use LineCounter AI lawfully and in accordance with these conditions. You agree NOT to:
- Engage in automated denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks, vulnerability scanning, or infrastructure flooding.
- Inject malicious scripts or payloads aimed at compromising third-party visitors or edge distribution networks.
- Attempt to bypass security headers, rate limiters, or CDN protection mechanisms.
- Reproduce, mirror, or repackage LineCounter AI branding or source assets without explicit written authorization.
05.Disclaimer of Warranties ("As-Is" Provision)
LineCounter AI is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express, statutory, or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
While our SLOC parsers, OCR engines, and text filters undergo rigorous testing across diverse programming syntaxes and encodings, we do not warrant that all edge-case metrics will be 100% error-free or that the site will be uninterrupted.
06.Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall LineCounter AI, its founders, operators, or affiliates be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the service, including data corruption, lost revenue, or operational interruption.
